Policies:

Mermaid Cove Inn is a small property where every guest reservation made is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 14 (Fourteen) days prior to your arrival date for a cheerful refund of your deposit less a $28 processing fee.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than Fourteen (14) days notice, a one night's stay will be charged. In the more unlikely event you must cancel with less than 48 hrs. notice, please understand we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation if we are unable to re-book the room.

If you shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation.

Room rates are based on single/double occupancy. Please add $20 per additional person.
Rates are subject to 5% Maine Sales Tax and 2 % Maine Accommodations Tax, totaling 7%.
A two night deposit is required on reservations for three to five nights. A deposit equal to half the amount is required for longer stays.

Payment is expected at time of registration.
Refunds are honored in full less a $28. processing fee if cancellations are made two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date unless you booked on-line;
If you booked on-line and cancel your reservation, we must charge the $28.00 cancellation fee due to our on-line booking agent charging us this fee.
All "no shows" will be charged for their full reservation.
Because we are a small Inn and every reservation counts, we do not refund for an early departure.
We are a non-smoking inn.
Children 8 years old and older are welcome.
No pets please, we have no facilities for pets.
Our normal check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Please call ahead for early/late arrivals.
Our check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
