As you can see I made it safely back to a
rather colder and wet Scotland okay, but as you predicted, without seeing a
moose anytime during my whole trip. I reckon they must all be in Canada after
all!
I stayed in various places and numerous Hotels during my two weeks but I have to
say they best accomodation I ever had was the two nights I spent at the Mermaid
Cove Inn and definately the best eggs benedict I have ever had.
I shall look back with fond memories of my stay in Winterport and the
exceptional hospoitality I experienced. I wish you and your family all the best.

Accommodating a vegetarian can be tricky-but you both made it seem so easy.

We were so glad we had made reservations at
your B&B. It was quite comfortable and we felt at home. The room
was great with the bed & steps and it was so comfortable. I could have
slept for many more hours. The rose decor and accents were so homey.
Your collection of books was great; we enjoyed looking and reading through
many of them. Your breakfast was very good and of course we ate too
much. Your company was nice, and both of your suggestions and
recommendations on where to go and what to see were greatly appreciated.

This was certainly the BEST accommodations that we've
ever enjoyed. The whole experience was quite lovely and when we come
back to Maine we'll be sure to stay in the Cove! We have enjoyed our stay with you, more than words can
express. The breakfasts were great. We hope to be back soon. |
